5 Natural Remedies For Acne

Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree is a great natural alternative for getting rid of pimples. It has unique soothing and anti-bacterial properties, and when applied topical it makes an excellent alternative to harsh synthetic chemicals. It could be harsh on your skin, so if you do have sensitive skin it may help to dilute it with raw organic honey or aloe vera.
Zinc
Zinc is found in oysters, red meat, poultry, beans, nuts, and sometimes in supplements.
Reducing diary intake
There are several diary free milk substitutes, such as almond milk :-) be sure to choose unsweetened products (or avoid them altogether) because they have an adverse effect on acne
Choose low glycemic load diets
Foods like pizza, rice, sweetened juices, are high in glycemic load and aid in increasing the production of androgen hormones that stimulate the development of acne. Instead, choose low glycemic diets like foods containing fibre such as beans, fruit and veg, nuts
Apple Cider Vinegar
I just bought a new bottle the other day. This product is literally a powerhouse when it comes to acting as an acne remedy. It kills off all the bacteria casuing your acne. It's also an astringent, meaning it dries up excess oil. Oh and if your skin gets too dry, make sure to use a moisturizer afterwards :-)
**Egg Whites
Bonus! Thanks for reading, if you've come this far, here's a 6th natural way to cure acne. Now egg whites have been a favorite of mine for some time. It's affordable and easy, when you're not trying to avoid getting eggshells into the mix. Egg whites contain protein and vitamins that not only combat acne but help rebuild cells. Egg whites also soak up excess oil. Yes, that oil is what the acne causing bacteria feeds on, so this morning, whisk some eggs and apply topical, 3-4 layers should be enough. Rinse off, and apply moisturizer if needed.
