Your bathroom might be stocked with products labeled Organic or Natural, but If you are not knowledgeable of the ingredients listed on the labels, you will fall for the half story; which is that unlike food, beauty products don’t need to meet government standards to include the word organic on the label.
There’s no one regulating the labeling of these types of products, and some companies may call their goods natural or organic but contain only some ingredients that actually are.
Parabens are preservatives that inhibit microbial growth in products, giving them a longer shelf life. Parabens are most times present in your shampoo, conditioner, styling gel, lotion, sunscreen and the list continues.
Parabens have a higher potential to cause allergic reactions, and are speculated to interfere with your hormones and increase cancer risk.
