Essential Oils for Easing Stress & Anxiety


In the wake of a global pandemic, It’s easy to feel anxious, depressed or overwhelmed Many of our busy schedules and hectic lives, have just gotten worse during this season, and it’s just possible that essential oils are not a cure, but the right mood-boosting oils can be of great help to your self-care routine.


Lavender


This first one is my favorite only because I like the smell of Lavender. It's totally fine if this one's not for you- scent is incredibly individual and not everyone will respond the same way to the same oils. I love the quintessential scent of lavender, and when mixed with the musty scent of Frankincense, it's an instant mood lift!


Frankincense


Frankincense is one of the most sought after oils - no surprise there. When blended with cedarwood or sandalwood, it can work wonders for your mind and help you focus; reason why this oil is so great for meditating.


Geranium


Geranium has a very strong floral scent. If that's your thing, then this one's for you. Blend it with Vetiver - another favorite! to set the tone of a relaxed and calming environment.


Vetiver


Vetiver is known for its relaxing properties. This root oil is so rich in therepautic properties, that so many swear by it when it comes to emotional support and mood boosting.


Chamomile


Chamomile blends beautifully with small amounts of Geranium and Lavender. Calming, relaxing, and so nice when used in a bath prior to bed.
