Stress from our outside world, can begin to rear its ugly head in our inside world; from dull skin to dry hair, it can show up any and everywhere. The good news is, no matter what’s going on in your life, you can arm yourself with a simple self-care routine.

 

Not only will it make you feel good in the now, but it could also help you to form long-term beauty habits, which is a total win-win. I want to help you discover new ways to be kind yourself, and be proactive about combating stress, so here are a few of my favorite beauty rituals that are so easy, anyone can work them into their daily routine.

 

Give yourself an at-home facial. This easy DIY-treatment always delivers. Applying a luxurious sheet mask after a hot shower or facial steam and a quick exfoliator can feel heavenly. It’s important to exfoliate after cleansing to get the maximum benefits from your mask’s serum. Many masks are ultra-moisturizing, making the need for an extra facial lotion unnecessary. However, a hydrating facial oil or cream is another way to end a luxurious masking session.

 

Find 10 minutes to move. Exercise doesn’t have to be a drag. Stretch it out with some low-impact yoga, dance to your favorite playlist, go for a short walk around the block, try a HIIT practice for some cardio. The choice is yours. Just get up and move for 10-minutes a day.

 

Take a natural hair, skin, and nails supplement. I don’t always think of taking vitamins as part of my beauty routine, but that’s kind of the beauty of it, right? Taking a supplement with breakfast is an easy way to keep your hair, skin, and nails looking their best, and it’s so easy to do.

 

Try a DIY Tea or Tonic. If you’re someone who needs a pick-me-up first thing in the morning and again mid-afternoon, you’re not alone. Instead of relying on caffeine, opt for a homemade tonic for similar energizing effects. An option that’s both hydrating and detoxifying is honey, lemon, and ginger. Just combine together in hot water, sip, and glow.
