Apart from the evident joy in receiving a customized box of goodies in the mail, subscription boxes can also save you a lot of time, money and hassle in finding organic beauty products that work for you. I personally did some research to find what box worked the best for me, but before you guess which one I decided on, here were some of the top on my list.
I enjoyed my experience with Petit Voir, and what I loved the most about this brand was that you receive about 5 natural and organic sample as well as full sized products - this is not something that many other subscription boxes do. This brand also carries a wide range of brands - they carry over 35 different brands all of which are vegan and cruelty-free, and If you order from the U.S, shipping is free. It's also the most affordable beauty box on this list. What's not to love?
Love Lula is a british subscription box brand carrying luxury sample sizes not just from europe, but from some of the most premium organic and natural niche brands in the world! Their boxes are made from recycled cardboard and are recyclable, as well. I know what you're wondering, and the answer is yes - they do ship internationally!
The Detox Box
I found the detox box to be a bit more high-end. A little too high-end for me, but if that's your thing, then be their guest! Each month you’ll receive one or more products that are worth $90 or more – shipping is also free. They tend to carry luxury product samples from brands like Josh Rosebrook, Pai, Osea, or One Love Organics and other high-end brands, but one thing you can guarantee is that the quality of products are held to a very high standard. Every box will be well worth it.
Akamai was made for the essentialist - that is totally a thing. With Akamai, you get 3 products. That's it. Nothing else. These guys literally put the 'E' in essential, but I mean if you think about it, what other focus would you possibly need other than skin, hair and teeth? I found it so interesting that while so many companies are trying to sell us multiple products, Akamai is built upon the ethos of wanting to sell you less by delivering stuff you will definitely want to use. Talk about 'SmartKit'.
The Clean Beauty Box
The Clean Beauty Box offers a unique bi-monthly subscription model, and so you can get two boxes at a time. Having been one of the older subscription model based brands, The clean beauty box carries a wide range of products, and selections to choose from, and is one of the higher priced natural and cruelty-free beauty subscription boxes on our list.
Ecocentric Mom Box
I thought this box was such a cute idea! It's packed with natural and eco-friendly products with a focus on healthy, natural, non-toxic and organic products exclusively for moms, moms-to-be, and babies. How FUN! Before you say anything, know that you do not have to be a mom to get this box. It makes for such a great gift for an expecting or new mom, and that's why it's on my list.
This is also a luxury beauty box for those obsessed with natural and cruelty-free skincare. With Boxwalla, you receive 1-3 products that are worth up to around $180 in retail value.
