If you’re wondering whether there’s botox in your future, rest assured that you’re not alone. After 4 kids, years of sleepless nights, and the lines to show for it, I too became drawn to the idea of a younger looking face, but like many of you I just didn’t like the idea of injecting toxins into my body.

Here’s what I’ve learned. When you first get injectibles they look pretty good for like the first year or so, but over time the skin becomes tired from the toxins, and you start to need more amounts to achieve the same effect. The trick is to work towards enhancing the skin’s healthy muscle tone with daily massage and good supply of essential nutrients.

I’ve put together some natural anti-wrinklers that in my opinion, work, and so before considering the big B, have a look see.

Wear Sunscreen

Many people use Botox to smooth wrinkles on their faces. A lot of those lines and wrinkles could have been avoided in the first place if they were protected from sun damage. If you’re out in the sun, be sure to wear non-toxic sunscreen every time you go outside. Staying out of the sun and using safe sunscreens are early ways to prevent the need for a cosmetic procedure like Botox.

Avoid Age Accelerators

Avoid drinking alcohol in excess and limit your intake of sugar. Exercise regularly and eat healthy with foods rich in vitamins. Some of my favorites are; Lemons, Apples, Papaya, Berries, and Leafy Greens

Use Natural Skincare with age-defying ingredients.

Ingredients such as:

Cranberry Seed Oil has the perfect ration to omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, which means that this oil will absorb amazingly into your skin, giving your skin greater hydration.

Raspberry Seed Oil is one of nature’s natural SPFs. It’s jam-packed with skin-loving goodies, rich in antioxidants combined with anti-inflammatory properties.

Virgin Sea Buckthorn encourages cell turnover and increases the collagen levels of your skin with this amazing oil. The high concentration of the rare omega 7 concentration in this oil intensely moisturizes and improves and helps fine lines and wrinkles.

Manuka Honey Extract is not just good to eat, it’s one of the most biologically active and beneficially honeys for the skin, and enhances your skin’s renewal process.

Camelina Oil is nourishing and protective properties of this skin oil reduces the signs of skin aging and improve skin elasticity.

At the end of the day, no amount of Botox or filler can match the effects of healthy skin that glows with vitality.
