Can we talk about Vaginas?

Many of us don’t learn about vaginal health until we’re forced to due to an infection or imbalance, and we realize far too late that our diet plays a role in your overall vaginal health, but there are simple tweaks you can add to your diet to ensure your vaginal health is in peak shape. Let’s get into it:

Drink more water.

Drinking an adequate amount of water helps maintain hydration throughout your body, including the vaginal tissues

Add probiotic-rich foods to your diet

Your gut microbiome and vaginal microbiome are interconnected. If you are more mindful of your gut health, your vagina will benefit as well. Add foods like pickled vegetables and beverages like kombucha that improve gut health bu introducing good bacteria, or better yet, take a daily probiotic supplement  

Eat your Omega-3s

Omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon and sardines have been known to support vaginal health due to their anti-inflammatory properties

Try a Balance Diet

A balanced diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. In other words, eat the rainbow! your vagina will be healthy for it.
