The Face: Hey there! My name is Yekesha Frederick, Founder, and CEO of Zen & Bloom™, a natural skincare, self-care, and lifestyle brand. We’ve coined ourselves advocates of guilt-free “me time.” Our goal is to be your number one source for all things self-care, such as body butter, facial masques, exfoliating scrubs, luxurious massage oils, herbal teas, and so much more.
The Brand: Zen & Bloom was birthed from my struggle of wanting to ditch the chemical-laden skincare products from my favorite brands, while not wanting to sacrifice the deliciously yummy aromas I’d become accustomed to. Many of the “natural” brands I came across over the years, gave me the false impression that the “natural girl scent” was not a desirably sweet, floral, or sensual one. I knew the natural skincare journey I so badly wanted to embark on, did not have to be a “one scent fits all” deal, so I started researching clean ingredients and began formulating them in my kitchen. I’m here to tell you that natural skincare does NOT have to be bland if you don’t want it to be. You’ve got options. Now that’s what I call balance! I have a passion for creating natural, cruelty-free products that are free of harsh chemicals, mineral oils, and toxic preservatives.
